Guidelines to open pilot area for travelers in Phang-Nga province

(Phang-Nga Prompt) Staring from 1 October 2021

                Kindly note: From 1st October 2021, those who travel to Thailand must be fully vaccinated and staying at Khaolak & Koh Yao for 7 days before departing to another region of Thailand.

Required Documents:

  1. A valid visa or re-entry permit.
  2. A vaccine certificate for fully vaccinated travelers.
  3. A certificate of entry (COE)
  4. A COVID-19 health insurance policy.
  5. Confirmation of Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotel booking.
  6. An RT-PCR medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hrs. before departure.

ON ARRIVAL: 1st Day

  1. Travelers must take a RT-PCR test at Phuket international airport.
  2. Travelers must only take SHA Plus transportation to the accommodation at Khaolak, Natai or Nam Khem and only through the Ta Chat Chai checkpoint.
  3. Travel to accommodation at Koh Yao must be direct to the checkpoint pier only.

DURING YOUR STAY:

  1. Travelers must be staying at Khaolak, Natai or Koh Yao for at least 7 days.
  2. Travelers must wait to receive their COVID-19 test result at the accommodation. If the result is “negative” then traveling in sealed route area is allowed.
  3. On the 6th day, travelers must take a RT-PCR test.

PRE-DEPARTURE / TRANSFER

  1. After the 8th day, travelers are able to travel to other destinations in Thailand.
